Commission a Portrait

A hand-painted portrait that celebrates your dog their expression, character and the little details that make them unmistakably themselves.

Every portrait begins with a feeling.

Before I paint, I ask about your dog and spend time with the photographs you send.

I notice the mood that comes through first — their expression, their posture, their character, the little signs of who they are.

Only then do we talk about the painting itself: composition, colour, size and medium.

A good portrait is more than a likeness. It should feel true.

The process

o1

Tell me about your dog

Every portrait begins with a conversation. Tell me about your dog and send a few photographs to get us started.

02

We plan together

Together we'll choose the composition, size and medium that feel right fot both your dog and your home.

03

I paint

Once we've planned everything, I begin painting, giving your portrait the time and attention it deserves.

04

It arrives home

When the painting is finished, I'll carefully prepare it for its journey to its new home.

Triptych Portraits

Alongside traditional single-canvas portraits, I also create triptychs—portraits painted across three connected canvases. They have become one of the most recognisable formats in my work, offering a distinctive way to present a portrait as one unified composition.

Available in both oil and acrylic. Pricing can be found below.

Pricing

Every portrait is painted by hand and priced according to its size and medium. The prices below are for a single dog. If you have something different in mind, I'd be happy to discuss it with you.

If you feel ready to begin, I would be honoured to hear from you. Tell me about your dog, share a few photographs, and I'll guide you through the rest.
